John Lewis's definition

John Lewis’s definition of community is from the moment someone meets someone else and there is a similarity between two they become part of the same community. I would change that because when I think of a community I think of two things. One is family. The other is the people that have to live in a neighborhood with. The only thing I would change about his definition of community is that I would make my community a place where close friends and family live together.
The way service and community go with each other is without a community someone couldn’t perform services. The only way the community could grow is to have service done in the community. Without service like mowing the lawn, painting the house and helping other people with their problems the community may not run efficiently and has the possibilities of failing.
